After many, many hours of effort from many, many amazing people, the Patriot Family is excited to announce that this Saturday, May 26, 2018, the Maryland Route 355 Bridge over the Monocacy River will be dedicated in memory of our fallen friend, Corporal Kirk J. Bosselmann, USMC. Kirk was a proud & decorated member of the 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Scout Sniper Platoon, killed in action on November 27th, 2004 while providing overwatch for Marines conducting house to house operations in the Iraqi city of Falljah. Named in his Honor, Kirks courage, compassion, dedication and passion for life are the foundation on which the Patriot family of companies are built. We miss him everyday and are extremely grateful to all those who worked tirelessly to make this lasting memorial happen. The Bridge will be dedicated at a private ceremony at the Monocacy River crossing Saturday morning. A public Tribute & Remembrance Ceremony will be held afterwards beginning at Noon at Whalen Commons in Poolesville, Maryland. All are invited to attend the Poolesville Ceremony.
